Peoria – Tommie L. Houston, 61, of Peoria, IL passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Proctor Hospital. He was born August 11, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Raymond and Nettie (Johnson) Houston. Surviving are his two sisters; Pamela Houston of East Peoria, IL and Kim Houston of Aurora, CO, sister-in-law Janis Young of Aurora, CO, aunt and uncle Nellie and Chester Johnson of Parsons, TN, aunt Addie Beth Johnson of Memphis, TN, and many loving cousins, friends, and co-workers from EPIC. Tommie was preceded in death by his parents. Tommie worked at EPIC in Peoria as a computer technician. He was an avid fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the Chicago Bulls. Tommie’s interest also included fishing, Twinkies, apple pie, movie and pizza nights at EPIC. Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel.
