YaDonna Marie Murdock

YaDonna was born in Peoria, IL October 27, 1966, to Milus Gene Murdock and Dottie Faye Simmons. YaDonna attended Peoria High School (Central) in Peoria, IL. She was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Peoria, IL and later in life moved her membership to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Peoria, IL. She enjoyed going to services with her mother and watching services on Facebook live.

YaDonna had a very hospitable spirit where you would find her hosting friends and family. It was her spirit of serving others that on many occasions you would find her household full of family and friends for holidays or just because. YaDonna's gift to the world was humor, and an infectious laugh. She always offered up advice and told you exactly how she felt. To have had her one of her many jokes or a one liner was a true blessing.

YaDonna was preceded in death by her loving father Milus Gene Murdock, her brother Jamar Kossa Murdock, her maternal grandmother Lillie Bell Ferguson, her paternal grandmother Millie Jo Meister (Cox), maternal grandfather Chester Simmons and paternal grandfather Milo Murdock. Bonded father Marvin Wendell Robinson Sr., bonded maternal grandfather Daniel L. Ferguson and bonded paternal grandfather Cleveland Cox.

YaDonna is survived by her mother, Rev. Dottie F. Simmons-Robinson of Peoria, IL. She leaves in love her loving life partner of over 30 years, Theron T Seiber of Peoria, IL. Her children, Germil Dupree Murdock of Peoria, IL and Skyliesha M. Murdock-Cotton (Kevin) of Harvey, IL. Bonded children Theron T. Seiber II and Theron T. Seiber III, Siblings, Montrey DeWayne Murdock (Jennifer), Pekin, IL, Eric Murdock of Pearland, TX, Gaynette LaShai Murdock (Glen) of Peoria, IL, Marva Ann Robinson of Irving, TX and Kyron Murdock of Peoria, IL. Bonded siblings Marvin W. Robinson Jr. of Jonesboro, GA, Kevin Rorie of Cape Girardeau, MO, Tierra Donnell of Peoria, IL, and Charles Donnell (Samantha) of Cape Girardeau, MO.

YaDonna was also survived by her grandchildren that held a very special place in her heart, she was very instrumental in raising them and nurturing them, Dre’Aunna S. Murdock-Keller, Deandre D. Keller, Cor’Naja M. Murdock-Wilson, Charne D. Murdock-Wilson, Nicholas J. Hayes-Livingston and Kemori M. Murdock-Giles. Bonded granddaughter of Amour E. Giles. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, bonded family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria, IL. Visitation will be one hour before beginning at 10 a.m.
