Jose Cervantes

Jose Cervantes, 86, of Perris, California, passed away on March 4, 2023 at his home. He is survived by his seven children, Irene Sepulveda, Joe Cervantes, Alfred Cervantes, Irma Flores, Rachel Herrera, Rose Garcia, and Larry Cervantes; as well as his daughters-in-law, Liz Cervantes and Darlene Cervantes; his sons-in-law, Luis Sepulveda, Don Garcia, and Steven Flores; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and his four siblings, Enriqueta, Ramon, Connie and Mary. Jose is preceded by his wife Josie Cervantes; and son, Fernando Cervantes. Jose worked in the construction industry for over 40 years. He was the most courageous, outgoing, resourceful man anyone knew. He provided for his family and made sure that his children had the guidance they needed. Dad, with all that you have done and provided; today, we honor you with all the beautiful memories you have given us. Thank you! We love you and miss you! Now, you are with God, who has you in his arms, and we will always have you in our hearts. A funeral mass for Jose will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 22190 Dunlap Drive, Perris, CA 92571. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740.
