Vernon worked many years in food service at the VA Hospital in San Fernando Valley, California. He was a hard-working man, loving his family and living life. Vernon loved listening to music, especially his Oldies. He favorite pastime was playing dominos and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory is Vernon's wife, Quillar Lavonta Turner; his daughters, Latasha Rena Turner, Laquisha Nicole Turner and Shawnta Earline Turner; his 6 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
A Visitation for Vernon will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Miller Jones Mortuary and Crematory, 1835 N. Perris Blvd, Perris, CA 92571, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM.
