We met you & Les in the early 90's at one of the National Square Dance Convention. We truly were impressed with you both and enjoyed our time with you. We are so very sorry about Les's passing but we feel certain he is up in Heaven dancing to the beautiful music provided. He is in so many hearts and memories forever. As you are also. My daughter just informed me of the passing of my beloved life-time friend and I am heartbroken.  I will miss you so much and have my memories of you and Sophie square dancing on my video cam. Dear Sophia,  I remember the first time we met was at a Square Dance event in Noblesville, IN.  We always looked forward to seeing you and dancing with you at various special dances plus local dances. Sophia and family, we were just crushed to hear of Lester's passing. No words can express how special and loved he was. I met Lester a number of years ago at one of his doctors offices where I worked. We immediately became friends. I used to look forward to Lester's appointments, as he would always bring in photos to show me of dances or family events that he and Sophia would attend. He many times would even bring in his crazy dressed up talking bears that he loved. Lester and Sophia have been an inspiration to my husband and I, as their blessed happy marriage for so many years has been something any couple can only pray to be so lucky to have. Lester lighted up the room and his bond with Sophia was no less than perfect. Jayson and I were honored to have Lester and Sophia at our wedding reception. We will always have the happy memories and pictures of them sharing our special day with us. Sophia, keep all the wonderful memories of Lester close to your heart. He will always be with us as long as we keep his memory alive. Heaven has a very special angel now...

To my dear, sweet, Sophia - I pray that you will find comfort in the memories of the many years that you and Les had together.  The laughs, the tears, the many ups and downs.  You two had something so very special and rare.  I love you and will miss Les's hearty laugh.  God bless you always.

Les will always have a special place in my heart. Even though I haven't seen him or Sophia in a while we have exchanged Holiday Cards and pictures over the years. Enjoyed many years of Square Dancing with him and Sophia and always appreciated his support for the cloggers from 1996-2006.
