(Adrian Daniel Fee)
Dan died suddenly this week at home, while watching his favourite baseball team, the BlueJays win.
Dan was treasured for his kindness and his ability to listen. He always had a love of sports, rooting for the local team, especially the Bluejays, or for any Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup, and during this century, the Raptors. In his earlier days, he loved playing sports, was an effortless skater and for a long period of time dabbled in weights.
He preferred walking over any other means of transportation, when distances permitted. He also grew to love country drives, particularly to see the hills around the farm he was raised on.· For decades, Dan worked in the construction industry across Canada and in various industrial manufacturers. Most recently, in landscape and repair for neighbourhood friends. His constant love in life was music, unwinding at the end of most days with his favourite tunes playing in the background. For much of his life, he also enjoyed strumming a guitar. He had the straightest eye and the strongest hand. A perfectionist. A crossword master. A listener. A strong moral compass. A compassionate heart. And a quiet but sneaky sense of humour. Oh, and a ‘Tims’ coffee lover
Dan was the son of Murray Fee of Omemee (Deceased) and Joyce Fee of Peterborough. Brother to Bryan Fee (Toronto); Norman Fee (Ottawa); Laurie Fee and Corey Broster (McArthurs Mills); (Alexis) Gordon Fee (deceased). And an ‘other’ brother to Robert Conden.
Aside from a private service for family, a Meet and Memory Gathering for Dan will be arranged for the last Sunday in August (August 29) on the lawn at Greenwood United Church at 1:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be left to the One Roof Diner/ Community Centre or the Bridges Peterborough/Bridging Poverty and Privilege program sponsored by the Greenwood United Church. Online condolences can be made at www.comstockkaye.com
