Peacefully, at St. Joseph Health Centre Guelph, on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late George Sweeting. Loving mother of Lyle Sweeting (Tammy) and the late Laura Deniluk. Proud Grandma of Josh (Kelly), Matt (Casey), Samantha (George), and Kevin (Courtney), and great grandma of Arielle, Ryder, Travis, Rylee, Quinn and Roman. Dear sister of Gerald Hampton (Donna), Roger (late Helen) and Fran. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Barbara’s family will receive guests at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, On Monday, September 14th, from 10am – 11am, with a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11am. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment after the reception at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
