Carol loved country music, romance novels, baking, scrapbooking, and British television shows, but her greatest joy was her family.
She will be fondly remembered as a ruthless penny-ante poker player, a devoted hockey mom, a dedicated wife, and someone who would go out of her way to help the ones she loved.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald Gaudet; her son, Edward “Ted” Gaudet; her daughter-in-law, Emma Gaudet; her beloved granddaughters, Harriet and Georgina; her sister and best friend, Cindy Gaudet; and her special nieces, Doris Gaudet and Susan Byam.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Monica Hubbell; her brothers, Edward “Hub” Hubbell and Scott Hubbell; and her sister, Doris "Mort" Hubbell.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, with a celebration of life to follow immediately afterward. Precise times will be shared soon.
