Carol Anne Rennick

It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Carol Anne Rennick in the peaceful passing into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Carol left this world surrounded by her sister, Sue, her nephew Mitchell Koning, her nieces Tanya Dunford (Rennick) Rachel (Lambshead )and Danielle.

Carol leaves behind a legacy of faith in the Lord , kindness, laughter and love. She will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew her.

Carol, born September 18, 1951 in Ottawa will be joined in Heaven with her predeceased parents, Ursula (nee Costello) and Michael Rennick and her 5 brothers, Pat (Donna) , Tom, Frank, Dan (Rachelle) and Mike (Sheila).

Carol is survived by her sister Susan who was her best friend, care giver and roommate.

Carol was well known in the world of transit, having started her career with Voyageur Bus Lines and spent 20 years as Director of Operations. She was so proud to have held the position of first female Operation Supervisor in 1979. Her career then transitioned to Greyhound in a supervisory position and she retired in 2016 as a Supervisor of Transit at the City of Peterborough .

Carol will be remembered for her kind heart and quick wit. She had a very close relationship with all of her nieces, nephews and cousins. Family was everything to her.

Carol will be remembered not only for her passion of music and artists, but her knowledge of lyrics and the career of Kris Kristofferson.

Her other passion was for golf. She closely followed the PGA players and stats, she was Phil Mickelson’s biggest supporter.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carol's life at Living Hope Christian Reform Church, 1 Consumer Place, Peterborough, Friday, August 28 at 11:00am,where a light luncheon will be served.

Burial will take place in Pembroke, at a later date.

Donations in honour of Carol, where she served as a board member, can be made to Brock Mission in Peterborough.

We miss you terribly, Carol. May flight of heavenly angels sing you to your rest.
