The family of Bud Staves announces his peaceful passing on June 19th, 2024 at PRHC with his sister Joyce at his side.
Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Taylor and his daughter Donna McMahon. Beloved father of Bobby Staves, Rick Staves, Barb Staves, and Wendy Staves. Loving grandfather and great grandfather to many. Bud will be missed by Ruby Driver, his companion for many years and Ruby's extended family. Lovingly remembered by his sister Joyce Rusk. Predeceased by siblings Gerald, Pauline, Donald, and Leo.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday July 9th from 12 to 1 PM at Emily Cemetery, 4249 Highway 7, Omemee, followed by a Celebration of Life at Farmhill Weddings and Events, 2709 Dillon Road, Keene on Tuesday July 9th from 5 to 8 PM.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
