TOMLINSON: Charles Stanley "Stan" - Served with the Royal Navy for 7 years, long time employee of Canadian General Electric, and long time member of the Canadian Scottish Club. Suddenly on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at the age of 80. Stan, loving husband of Margaret Anne (nee: Holtham). Dear Dad of Angela (Roger) Twomey, James (Ava), Joseph, Richard, Lucinda (Mike) Heron and the late infant Maureen. Beloved Granddad of Adam, John, Matthew (Kristina), Jacqueline, Desire´e, Connor, Jason, and Philip. Brother of Alan (Jean), and the late Peter (surviving spouse Brenda), all of Doncaster, England. Stan will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews in Canada, England and Australia. Friends may call at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter Street West, Peterborough, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Private family service.
