It was with great sadness that I heard the news of Chris’ passing. 

I have many fond memories of Chris, and of all of you and your parents, from our early years growing up in Smiths Falls. 

On behalf of the entire Hanrahan family, please accept our heartfelt condolences.

On behalf of the Stevens Family we send you our deepest condolences. We remember all of you so well. We have many wonderful memories of your time in Smiths Falls. We were greatly saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. Dad (Joe) said Chris was a “damn fine paramedic”.

What a great man Chris was, so young and sudden. This world needs more of people like Chris, had a kind, caring nature, and a great soul. Chris has been a close friend of mine since his family moved from Geraldton Ont. some 50 plus years ago. Even though our lives evolved into family, and career, he would always call and touch base. No matter how many years it may had been since we last spoke or saw each other it was as if time had not passed. You don’t have many friends like that in this life, but when you do every moment, you spend together is cherished by both. My condolences go to his entire family.
To Chris’ children, your father was a great man with a generous soul and a steady spirit. He spoke often with pride about you, and it was clear that his greatest joy in life was being your dad. May you find solace in the memories you shared and in the legacy of kindness and strength he leaves behind. Please know that he touched many lives, including mine, in ways that will never be forgotten.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chris.  A much-respected member of Northumberland Paramedics, Chris was more than a dedicated paramedic/supervisor—he was a friend, a mentor, and someone who brought kindness and steadiness to those around him.

His compassion and commitment made a lasting difference in the lives of the patients he cared for and in the hearts of the colleagues who had the privilege to work beside him. Chris’s legacy of service and friendship will always be remembered.

My deepest sympathies go out to Chris’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. I know that he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his Northumberland County family.

It was always a pleasure to work with Chris as a paramedic and when he was a supervisor.  My condolences and prayers to the family.

Chris, you were an amazing man and Paramedic.  Your heart was so full of love for the people around you. Especially your family. I will never forget our chats at work and how much your face lit up when you spoke of your family. You will be missed ♥️

So many memories with Pam and Chris, and so many lives touched deeply.  A genuinely great person who was kind to me as a new medic and never wavered as a friend and caring co-worker.  A lot of good talks and genuine love went back and forth Laker. You were always welcome at our house and in our lives.  You will always be in our hearts.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Chris as my supervisor in two paramedic services. He always had your back and genuinely cared about his friends and coworkers. Whenever I walked up to Chris having a conversation with someone, he would look at me and jokingly say "This is an A-B conversation. C your way out".  He was a wonderful man, loved by all who knew him. You will be greatly missed Chris. Ride free brother, we will take it from here.

Chris was an amazing person and paramedic. I had the pleasure of many patient transfers with him as an RN.
Chris made every transfer more comfortable and pleasant for both patient and colleagues. He was
friendly, funny and a pleasure to be around.
