He loved living in Glen Alda and enjoyed hunting, trapping, and spending time outside. He took great pride in watching his grandchildren grow into adults and was proud to welcome a great grandchild.
Monty was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, with whom he shared many happy years of marriage. Together they created a family they were deeply proud of.
He will be dearly missed by his sons, Robert (Selena) and Steve (Mary); his grandchildren, Matthew (Jen), Riley, Tyler (Nyah), Jessica, Connor (Alex), Noah, and Delaney (Branden); his great grandson, Hudson; and all who knew him.
A private service will be held for family members only on March 28 at 2pm. The service will be at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road Peterborough.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
