We will always remember our kind neighbours, the MacDougalls, who lived next door when we moved to Peterborough as newlyweds 50 years ago.

Just hearing now of Keith's passing and sending a big, warm hug to Jean and family. Having been next-door-neighbours at Cowan's Bay, more importantly friends, it brings warm memories every time I think of your family. Keith was warm-hearted, wise, always had time for a chat, had a "listening ear" and I enjoyed conversations on the front-porch of the old, log "cottage". Loved Keith's sense of humour and his laid-back way. He said, "when I bought this place years ago, I had a list of 25 things I needed to do". "How many on the list now, Keith"? "27"! One day, while watching him paint on exterior and quitting after an hr., I said, "quitting for the day, Keith? Lots to do"! He replied, "the sun is in my eyes and it can wait", lol. Yet, this same man would help his neighbours, with anything/everything if suspecting you might need a hand. Loved his family, always in his thoughts and was a good role-model for the grand-babies when they came to visit. Jean and Keith.....love you both. Safe journey, Keith. Always in my heart and thoughts.....xoxoxo

Jean
Please accept my sympathy for your loss of Keith. It was my pleasure to work with him at Kawartha Food Share and play the odd game of cribbage.
