Dianne Elizabeth Hutchinson

May 9, 1953 – August 2, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dianne Elizabeth Hutchinson (née Paquette) on August 2, 2026, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Peterborough, Ontario, on May 9, 1953, Dianne lived a life defined by love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She faced many health challenges throughout her life with remarkable strength and courage, inspiring everyone who knew her with her determination and grace.

Dianne’s greatest joy was her family. Her children, Steve (Sonja) and Heather (Brad Davidson), were the centre of her world, and nothing brought her more happiness than becoming a grandmother to Abby, Alex, Peyton, and James.

Dianne will be deeply missed by her sisters, Gale (Terry) Cranley and Linda Armstrong, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Kevin, her brother, Brian, and her brother-in-law, Ken Armstrong.

Dianne will be remembered not only for her loving and kind heart, but for the way she made people feel. Her compassion, gentle spirit, and generous heart touched countless lives, and her memory will continue to live on in everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is finally at peace. Her strength, unconditional love, and the memories she created with family and friends will remain with us forever.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends to come together to honour and remember Dianne will be held on Thursday, September 10th, 2026 at 6pm at Peterborough Legion, 1550 Lansdowne St W.
