LOWES: Donald Merrill, Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the PRHC Palliative Care Unit, in his 76th year. Merrill, loving husband for 55 years of Joan, and loving father of Doug (Joanne Vilander), Tammy (Ron) Amos, and the late Janet (surviving spouse Gord) Girard. Beloved Grampa of Erica, Kate (Kevin), Candace (Ethan), Bethany (Kyle), Jessica, and Anna. Beloved Papa of Kayla. Great Grandfather of Jessica, Brooklyn, Jordan, Madeleine, Nash, Emma, and Jackson. Dear brother of Ronald (Lori), and Ken (Joan). Merrill will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephew, friends, neighbours, and by his cat Chloe. Friends may call at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Saturday, December 19th, from 2 p.m. A Celebration of Merrill's Life will be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. Reception to follow.
