Doris Mary Bernier Russell

RUSSELL, Doris Mary (nee Bernier) – Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 2, 2012 at St. Joseph’s At Fleming. Doris was the devoted wife of the late Clifford Russell, and the loving mother of Dianne Grills (Glenn) of Trenton, Susan Musclow of Peterborough, Maureen Laybourn (Walt) of Surrey B.C., and Lisa Borland (Richard) of Bracebridge. Doris is fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Tracey, Nicky, Ron, Troy, Melia, Chris, Tracey, Neil, Nicole, Drew, Jenna, Kelly, Kyle, and Grant, and her six great-grandchildren, Justin, Jarrett, Simon, Esmé, Jielka, and Annalise. Doris is pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters: George, Albert, Jack, Phil, Len, Eddy, Kaye, Isabel, Olive, and Pat. “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.” Mom, you have left footprints in our hearts. Rest now with Dad who was your soul mate. There will be a mass for Doris at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1066 Western Ave., on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Little Lake Cemetery.
