GILLESPIE, Dorothy Isabel (“Betty”) of Clear Lake, Ontario at PRHC Palliative Care on Friday July 22, 2011 in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Henry James White and Olive Mowat Winchester. Loved wife of the late James Earl Gillespie (1984) and devoted mother of James R. and George A. Gillespie (Ann). Predeceased by sisters Mary and Barbara (“Peggy”) and brothers Donald and Robert. Always loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Laura Kimball (Phil), Jamie (Andrea), Brent (Ashley) and Scott. A special ‘G.G.’ to her great grandson Elliott Kimball. Grandma lived a long and wonderful life with a special love of nature that she nurtured in all of us. She was fully devoted to each and every member of her family. Service will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Tuesday July 26, 2011 at 1 PM, with visitation commencing at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to PRHC Palliative Care or a charity of your choice.
