Peacefully, at PRHC, on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in her 72nd year. Edie was the best friend and soul mate of Peter. Dear sister of Russ King and his wife Irene of Fredericton, N.B. and Jean Bowes of Orangeville. Edie was the wonderful adopted Mom of Lisa Pilon and her family of Meaford. Edie was predeceased by her father Robert King and mother Sarah (nee Smith). In keeping with Edie’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Memorial donations to Cancer Society or PRHC Fdn. would be appreciated by Edie’s family.
