MARTIN, Edwin William – Retired plumber. Retired Caretaker/Maintenance worker at Dublin Street Pentecostal Church, Northview Pentecostal Church and Northview Day School. Volunteer at Good Neighbour Care Center. – Heaven rejoiced as angels welcomed Edwin W. Martin into God’s bright glory on March 6, 2012, in his 90th year. Edwin was the beloved husband of Flora (nee Guy) for 65 years. Dear father of Cheryl Benson (Sid), Fred (Marilyn) and Julie Hill (Kevin). Loving grandfather of Eric Martin, Jasmin Denike (Zack) and Jessica Hill and Great-grandfather of Walter Denike. Brother of Sherwood, Lionel and Linda Brant. Edwin will also be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Come celebrate Edwin’s life with Flora and family. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Thursday, March 8, from 6-8 pm and at NORTHVIEW PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, 1000 Fairbairn St. on Friday, March 9 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will follow at church at 11 am. Reverend Scott Couper officiating. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens to follow. Donations to Northview Church would be gratefully acknowledged.
