Mr. Ellis William Theodore Ives

With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our precious son, Ellis William Theodore Ives on June 24, 2026. Born on February 21, 2026, our hearts are heavy as we remember a baby boy whose smile and spirit brought boundless joy to everyone fortunate enough to meet him.

Though his time with us was brief, his presence was a shining light of innocence and pure happiness. From the moment he arrived, he filled out lives with love, laughter and hope. His little hands and bright eyes left an indelible mark on our hearts, reminding us of the beauty and fragility of life. His spirit will continue to inspire us to cherish each moment, to love deeply, and to find joy in the smallest of blessings. His smile, his innocence, and his joy will forever be etched in our souls.

Gabrielle (nee Crough) and Erick Ives are devastated by the loss of their beloved son. He will be forever remembered and loved and remain a treasured part of their lives, a reminder of the love that surrounds him.

He is also survived by his loving grandparents, Fergus Cough of Peterborough, ON and Jill Ives of Hamilton, ON.

His extended family members—multiple aunts, uncles and cousins—who loved him dearly will cherish his memory and hold him close in their hearts forever.

Rest peacefully, our precious boy. You are loved beyond measure and missed more that words can say. Until we are reunited, you will always be our little angel watching over us and forever in our hearts.

A private family service will be held and a private burial will follow.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Baby's Breath Canada and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his memory.
