Beloved wife of the late Ronald Mearl Peacock, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage until his passing in 2009. Loving mother of Patricia Clark, Joan Mann (Jerry), Heather Nichol (Jim), Darlene Smiley (Stephen), and Stephen Peacock (Michelle).
Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Nathan, Jordan (Andrea), Richelle (David), Phillip, Tammara (Doug), Christopher, Heather (Scott), Rachel (Jimmy), Sonja (Allan), Steven (Brittney), Jenessa, and Joshua. Fern was also a proud great-grandmother to 18 great-grandchildren.
Fern will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was predeceased by her two sisters and five brothers.
Those who knew Fern will remember her for her devotion to family, her faith, her kind heart, and the love she shared with everyone around her. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Friday, August 7th from 7:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8th at 11:00 am with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow the service. Following the reception, an internment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Havelock.
