Frank Mandeljc

Mandeljc, Frank, (Founder of Trent Valley Honda), 72, of Buckhorn, passed suddenly at PRHC on Monday, March 19th. Loving husband of Elfrieda (Payerl) for 51 years; devoted father to Monika Carmichael (Jimmy Panno), and Frankie (Alli Ross), and Opa to Julia, Frankie Senna, and Kate Knapp. Predeceased by three brothers; Ivan (Sweden), Ignac and Rudi (Slovenia), and parents Johann and Angela (Slovenia). Frank was born in Gorje, Slovenia, and immigrated to Canada at 18 years old to pursue the Canadian Dream. He was the visionary builder of Trent Valley Honda. He had a passion for cars and for people. "The Chief" will be dearly missed by his extended family of staff and loyal customers. Visitation will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road on Saturday, March 24th from 11am -1pm. A Service will follow at 1pm with an Internment at Lakefield Cemetery at 2pm. A reception will follow back at Ashburnham Funeral Home from 3 - 5pm. Trent Valley Honda will be closed Saturday, March 24th, to honor this celebration of Frank's life.
