Freida Eveline Magee Morton

Formerly of Cavan, peacefully entered into rest on Monday April 30th, 2012 in her 98th year. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Hector Morton. Loving Mother of Joan Sutton, Nancy Roberts, Laverne, Howard and Garry Morton. A wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed. Dear sister of Hilda Bigelow, Della Biss, Lorne Magee and Elvira Tyner. Predeceased by parents George and Evelina Magee, brother Earl Magee and sisters Cora Hutzul and Alta Middleton. Fondly remembered by all her relatives and friends. Freida was an active member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Bethany, the Women’s Institute, Bethany Senior’s Club and enjoyed playing shuffleboard in Millbrook. Our family wish to thank the devoted staff of Riverview Manor for providing loving care and support, enabling Freida to enjoy the last years of her life with grace and dignity. Funeral service will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Thursday May 3rd, 2012 at 2:00p.m. with visitation one hour before the service.
