George Edward "Ted" Manley, passed peacefully surrounded by family August 04, 2026. Ted was born May 9th, 1937 to Lillian and Charles Manley at Dr. Turner's Hospital in Millbrook. Loving husband of Margaret May, nee Hannah for 65 years. Dearest father to Maureen (Rick), Darlene (Mallory), Sharine, Gregory (Tracey). Gramps/Grampa/Poppa to Melissa (Steve), Tara, Laura (I.B.), Sean (Mallory), Sara (Craig), Paul, Eden, Erika (Tyler). Great Grampa to Kaedyn, Bronson, Chris, Jayden, Arden, Ashlynn, Shaelynn, Madisynn, Kalia, Isaiah, Zion and Evelynn. Brother to Anna (Steve - d), Joan (Don - d), Lorraine (Bernie), Ruth (Gary). Predeceased by Leone (John -d), Lorne (Judy - d), Max (Carol), and Glenn. Ted was uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The family will welcome visitors to the Ashburnham Funeral Home on Monday August 17, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11am, followed by a service at 12pm. A reception will take place from 1pm - 3pm.
A graveside service and interment will take place August 18, 2026 at 10:30am at Gardiner United Cemetery in Millbrook, Ontario.
