Mr. Gerald Jerry Wayne Harding

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gerald Wayne Harding, on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family in his 65th year. Member of the Silver Cup Hunt Club and Retired GE Employee. Devoted husband of Marilyn Harding . Loving father of Cheryl Henwood (Shawn) of Cavan and Jerry Jr. (Julie) of Havelock. Loving Poppa to his precious grandsons Ethan Henwood and Zachary Rodgers. Survived by his siblings Margaret Garrett of Lakefield, Dave (Joan) of Cavan and Terry (Yvonne) of Grand Prairie, Alt. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Clarissa Harding and siblings Helen, Art, Harold, Paul, Gord and Ernie. He will be sadly missed by his constant companion and guardian “Jake”. Jerry will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 1 – 3 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough (705)745-4683. A funeral service will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 am with visitation prior to the service from 10 – 11 a.m. Reverend Lloyd Eyre will be officiating.
