Mrs. Gladys Davis

Passed away peacefully at Peterboorugh Regional Health Center,

Peterborough on Sunday september 5 , 2010 after a courageous

struggle with clostridium difficile and cancer. Beloved wife of the

late Raymond (1993). predceased by her parents Michael and

Margaret. Much loved sister of Dorothy McNeill, and Jean (Andy)

Galea. Predceased by her siblings Victoria (Queenie), Perlina

(Pearl), Clifford (Joseph), Stella (Tootsie), Myrtle, Helen (Peggy),

William Charles (Bill), Georginaand John. She will be sadly missed

by many nieces and nephews. She worked in WW II, deciphering

codes and met Mr. Intrepid. In middle age she went back to school

and achieved her University and MA. Then went on to teach High

School at Woodbridge High School. Uprooted at age 82and lived

in Mexico for the past 5 years, recently residing at Peterborough

Manor in Peterborough. As per her wishes, cremation has taken

place and there will be no service. She is to be buried with her

husband at Chesley, Ontario.
