Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on Thursday, July 9, 2026 in her 90th year. Loving wife and life partner of the late John Coreno (2023) for 65 years. Much loved mother of Julie Goodwin (Terry 2020), John Jr (Barbara Jane) and Joe (Erin). Special grandma to Melanie Froggett (Mike), Jennifer MacMillan (Connor), Kevin Coreno (Cathy), Melissa Sanders (Stephen), Daniel Goodwin (Heather), Bradley Coreno (Kari VanVliet) and Catherine Alvarez (Joshua). Great grandma of Mackenzie, Emma and Lucas Froggett, Kai and Jakobi Alvarez, William Sanders, Benjamin and Sebastian Coreno, and Abigail Goodwin.
In her early years, Grace wanted to be a nurse but once she began dating John at age 15, she soon knew that she wanted to be a wife and mother. She worked as a Bell Telephone operator and they were married in 1958. Grace was blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mom. Her faith and her family were of utmost importance to her. Once the grandchildren started coming, John took an early retirement so that they could spend more time with the grandchildren.
