It is with great sadness the family announces the death of our beloved Mom on Friday, June 26, 2026. She is survived by her daughters Paula (Dieter Gembus) and Ellen (Andy Allan) and her precious grandchildren Michael, Anneliese (Eric) and Daniel. Predeceased by her husband Fred and siblings Jim, Clement, Jack, Dave, Marg, Alice and Theresa. Louise will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Her legacy of faith, family unity, and warmth will live on in our hearts forever.
Born with the resilient spirit of a farm girl, our mom carried the love for her rural roots throughout her entire life. Her happiest memories were those spent on the farm, a place that shaped her strong work ethic, her appreciation for life's simple blessings, and her deep connection to community.
That same grounded, resilient spirit carried over into her deep and unwavering Catholic faith. She lived her life with profound devotion, a faithful servant who walked through the world with grace, strength, and an infectious joy.
A true social butterfly, she was the centre of our family circle. She possessed a rare gift for gathering people, turning any occasion into a celebration. Whether it was a bustling weekend at the family cottage or a cozy Sunday dinner at home, her doors were always open, her table was always full, and her heart was even fuller. She was the glue that held everyone together.
Visitation will be held at St. Martin’s Church, 513 Ennis Rd., Ennismore on Thursday, July 2nd from 12:00 until time of Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment at St. Martin’s Cemetery, Ennismore. Followed by reception in the church hall.
In Louise’s memory, a donation to the PRHC Foundation – Palliative Care or V.O.N. Canada would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre. Online condolences may be made at www.ComstockKaye.com
