Harold Raby

(Long-time Mason, Ancient St. John’s Lodge A.F. and A.M., Kingston) – Surrounded by family, Harold passed away at home on October 23, 2012 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of 60 years to Eunice Raby (nee Thompson). Loving father of Cheryl Kenniphaas (Mir), Donna Carey, Denise Hurley (Blair), Harold William (Diann), Anne Raby and Estelle Raby. Dear grandfather of Mark (Danon & great-grandson Gage), Emerald, Emrys (Catherina), Caeleigh, Taryn, Shannon (great-grandson Collin), Jordan (Jenn), Zarah (great-granddaughter Vallee), Dylan, Kim (Jeff), (great-granddaughters Brieanna & Annabelle and great-grandson Jack), Shannon (great-granddaughter Alicia and great grandson Mathew), Shayna and Matthew. Survived by sister Iris Little, predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Comstock Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Trinity United Church, 360 Reid St. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harold may be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit or Trinity United Church Memorial Fund.
