The family of Heather Ferguson sadly announces her peaceful passing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on July 15, 2026. Heather was in her 92nd year.
Heather was the beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Ferguson for 69 years. She was the loving mother to James (Christine) and David (Kelly) and cherished grandmother to Jacquelyn (Mike), Fisher, Jonathan, Rob, Bennett and Andrew. And great grandmother to Madeline.
She is predeceased by her parents John Garvey Perdue and Mary Winifred George; her siblings Marjorie Gosson (late Patrick), Gwen Ritchie (late Edgar), Yvonne McDiarmid (late Cliff), Jack Perdue (late Evelyn) and Patricia Perdue.
She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff at the Chartwell Wynfield Retirement Residence for all the loving and special care they so generously gave, and to the staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa in making her final days and hours comfortable.
