Herman Elgeti

Surrounded by his loving family, Herman was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 26th, 2012 at Toronto General Hospital in his 81st year. Beloved Husband of Janny Elgeti (née Herder) for 55 years. Loving father of Kathy (Dave Bell), John (Janice), David (Bonnie), Irene (Doug Belsey), and Robert (Lisa). Proud grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 2. Sadly missed by many dear friends. Herman will be remembered for the kindness that he showed in many ways, most recently as a volunteer with the Peterborough Community Chaplaincy and with the Warkworth Prison Centre. The family will receive relatives and friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Wednesday, February 29th, from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11: 00 a.m. at CEPHAS CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 220 Goodfellow Rd. with cremation to follow. Ray Hendriks officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to Rhema Christian School, Peterborough Community Chaplaincy or Peterborough Pregnancy Support Services would be greatly appreciated by the family.
