December 26th, 1933 - October 21, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Inez. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hospice Peterborough for going above and beyond to ensure that her end-of-life care was both dignified and compassionate.
Inez was born in Toronto, Ontario and raised by her Grandma Hitchins. Her greatest love was her daughter Dale and often spoke of their wonderful times together at Dale & Ed’s pub in Stowe, Vermont. On October 14th, 1972 she married Victor Armand Parisi and they shared 41 beautiful years together.
Inez lived her life with grace, impeccable style and strength - being a proud 30-year breast cancer survivor. Some of her happiest times were spent playing the daily crosswords, enjoying winters in Florida with Vic and sharing adventures on Johnston family trips. Inez built lifelong friendships through her love of boating and in her later years partaking in the Westwind Ladies Wine Club. She spent most of her life in Toronto, taking great pride in her long and fulfilling career at TD Bank and embracing countless new experiences. She spoke fondly of her Toronto Blue Jay Cruises and will be remembered for her passion for golfing and love for the finer things in life.
Inez was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her. She adored her dogs Skipper, Koko, Clyde, and Charlie - and treasured every moment spent with family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Vic, daughter Dale (Ed) and stepson Jeff. In addition, she was a cherished stepmom to Mark (Lisa), and Grant (Marina). Inez was a proud grandmother of Sarah (Roberto), David, Alison (Jesse), James (Victoria), Justin (Megan), Christopher (Joanne), Michael, Nicholas, and Alexandra and great-grandmother of Matthew, Adele, Jack, Benjamin, Emma, Oliver, Vienna, Alex and Myles.
A celebration of life will be held at the Ashburnham Funeral Home in Peterborough on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 from 2-4pm. Speeches will begin promptly at 2:15pm followed by a toast, refreshments and a time to share memories of Inez with family and friends.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
