Isla Gertrude McKnight

Isla passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Extendicare Peterborough, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished wife of the late Ernest (1999), her beloved husband of 55 years. Devoted and much loved mother of Erna Allen (Neil), Ruth Coleman (Ken), Mel McKnight (Alexandra), Dale Bailey, Bonnie Bunker (Kevin). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Eric Allen (Predeceased), Mark Allen (Dayna), Karl Allen (Renee), Kraig Coleman (Connie), Kris Coleman (Tasha), Kendra Parsons (Rob), Mary McKnight (Brent Armstrong), Samuel McKnight (Alexandra Down), George Ripoll (Julie Czerniawski), and Laura Murdock (Bunker - predeceased). Proud great-gramma of Paige, Adrianne and Brooklyn Allen, Ciera and Kristi Coleman, Konner and Cooper Coleman, Roen and Karissa Parsons. Daughter of the late Sidney and Gertrude Reynolds, sister of the late Myrtle Ferguson. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME “Memorial Chapel”, 539 George St. N., on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
