

JOPLING, Jack H. “Coog” – WWII Veteran R.C.A.F. (Wireless Operator). Self-employed cabinet maker/wood worker. Peterborough (TPT) Pete, OHL Championship team of 1939. Member of Bridgenorth United Church. Peacefully, with his family at his side, at Lakefield Extendicare on Saturday, January 15, 2012 in his 93rd year. Jack was the loving husband of Marjory (nee Grant) for 68 years. Dear father of Bain (late Donna), Lynda Robson (husband Court) and Peggy Junkin (husband Burt). Loving Poppa of Twyla Babyak (Randy) and Tarra Pinkoski (Craig), Paul Robson and Penny Robson (Lee Richardson), Londa Junkin and Bryan Junkin. Great grandfather of seven, and great-great grandfather of one. Brother of the late Charles & Bob Jopling. He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be held at BRIDGENORTH UNITED CHURCH, 832 Charles Street, Bridgenorth, on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11:00 am, with visiting one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The Reverend Anne Gowans-Blinn will officiate. Interment to follow at Bridgenorth Cemetery.
