42-year G.E. employee passed away peacefully at the age of 81 after a long courageous battle with cancer at P.R.H.C. on April 7, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was the beloved husband of Barbara (Britton) for 59 years. He was an inspiration to our children Paul (Joanne), Christine (Bill Bethune dec.), Heather Scrimshaw (Derek), Steven (Julie). Precious Grampa of 14 grandchildren (Jeremy dec.) and Great Grampa to 5. Son of the late Frank and Theresa Doherty. Brother of Terry (Nancy), Peter (Linda), Delores (Dave dec.), Mary (Don), Judy and Joanne deceased. Brother in-law of John (Eve), Vic and Lillian Britton, Linda and Mike Duvall and Marie Watt.
