Foster, James Allan – Passed away at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on November 17, 2011 in his 82nd year. Jim was the beloved son of the late James and Velma Foster of Sarnia, where Jim was born. He moved to Peterborough in 1968 to teach English at Fleming College. Jim will be sadly missed by his cousins Susan Mearns of Gibsons, B.C. and Isabel Coleman of Saanich B.C. He will also be missed by several close friends; Eleanore Lunney of North Bay, Noreen and Robert Quinn, Kathy Glover, Johanna Weirdsma, Ann and James Moodie, all of Peterborough. Jim was a longtime member of Murray Street Baptist Church. Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph’s at Fleming for their supportive, compassionate care. A private Interment in Sarnia will take place in Jim’s family plot. A Memorial Service will be held at Murray Street Baptist Church, 175 Murray St., Peterborough on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough.
