James Lewis Genge

Born and raised in Peterborough by his parents Roy and Connie, Jim was known for his vibrant spirit, creativity, and talent. His passion for music and connection carried throughout his life.

Jim worked at GE Peterborough and was the Quality Assurance Manager at CISG for over 40 years.

He was a devoted father and proud “Papa.” He loved his family deeply, and his greatest joy came from time spent with his family and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his warmth, his charm, his creativity, and the stories that will continue to be shared about him for years to come.

He is lovingly remembered by wife and best friend Sharon (nee McLean), his children, Candace O'Keefe, Adam Genge (Tara) and his cherished grandchildren, Briar, Jada and Arya. As well as brother Glenn (Sue). And many wonderful nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by Don (Joanna) Larry , Wendy (Jim Baird).

The family would like to extend their gratitude to those special people who supported him at Centennial Place Millbrook through his illness and helped care for him with compassion.

A Celebration Of Life will be held June 7, at Ashburnham Funeral Home from 2-4PM, visitation from 12-2PM.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
