James "Jim" Francis Donoghue

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday February 7, 2022 in his 74th year. Loving husband and best friend for 54 years to Diane (nee Braeckman). Proud Dad of Scott Donoghue (Karen) and Terry Donoghue. Loving Grandfather of Andrew, Jack, Joe and Leo. Cherished brother of Patricia Curtis, Diane Nichols, Peter Donoghue (Lynn), Douglas Donoghue (Bonnie) and Michael Donoghue (Mary) and brother-in-law of Paul Braeckman (Jan) and Cheryl Armstrong (Wayne). He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Irma Donoghue (nee Dunford), and brothers-in-law Randy Graham and Doug Nichols. Jim will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

He was a member of the United Association of Plumbers & Steam Fitters Local 401. Throughout his life, Jim enjoyed playing, coaching and watching sports. He also enjoyed travelling with his family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 10:30 am from St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 859 Barnardo Avenue, Peterborough. (Livestream available at www.comstockkaye.com) followed by inurnment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.

All who attend must register and masks are mandatory.
