At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on August 31, 2016 at the age 91. Beloved husband of the late Margaret McIlvena (nee- Beggs). Dear father of the late Alec (Brenda) and Mary-Anne Davies (Brian). Grandfather of Jim and Jodi McIlvena and Mitchell, Braeden and Marisa Davies & great grandfather of Hayden Crego. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Gladys McIlvena and his brother Martin. James was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 52. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK-KAYE Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Little Lake Cemetery.
