Passed away peacefully at Centennial Place, Millbrook on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Janet ‘Sheina’ was the beloved wife of the late Archibald ‘Archie’ Cowan (2019) for 57 years. Dear mother of Fiona Gentle (Steve) and Bill Cowan (Nancy). Loving Grandma of Chris and Mitch Cowan, and Andrea (Kyle), Kirk (Kathleen), and Kelli (Dylan) Billings. A special Great-Grandma to Kaleb, Dallas, Blakely, Miles, Adalyn, Karson, Violet, Archie, and Hallie. Sister of Sandy and Dave (Pat) Elder. Sheina will also be remembered by many friends. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Applewood Retirement Residence and Centennial Place for their incredible care. Cremation has taken place, and the family will gather later this year to celebrate Sheina's life the way she would have wanted: with food, drink, laughter and love.
