

Peacefully with her family by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 17, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Bryant James Frank (2015) former member of Knights of Columbus, 3rd & 4th Degree. Loving mother of 6 children; the late Robert (survived by Robin), Rodger (Laura), Carol (Marty), Judy, Susan (Jeff) and John (Suzanne). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Bryant, Erin (Jeff), Shane (Candace), Amanda, Justin, Curtis – son of Ken (Karla), Karly (Andrew), Megan, Emma and Grace. Fondly remembered by great-grandchildren: Bobby, Sophia, Stella, Aliyah, Abbey, Kale, Colton, Markus and Marcellus. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Gertrude Craig (nee-Phipps) and step father Harvey Schott and siblings Gordon Walter Craig (survived by Alice) and Francis Robert Craig (survived by Catherine). Mom was a saint to us and will be deeply missed by many friends and family. She was the bond that held us all together treasuring family vacations including memorable cruises. She explored the country side and nature by gathering seedlings for her garden; stopping for ice cream and finding memorable trinkets with her girls. She enjoyed lake side picnics, reminiscing her childhood and treasuring playful time with her family. Visitation to be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre (356 Rubidge St.) on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 859 Barnardo Avenue on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Little Lake Cemetery, reception to follow at St. Anne’s Parish Hall. If so desired, in memory of Joan, donations to Multiple Sclerosis and Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
