Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on Wednesday December 6 in his 88th year. Loving husband and life partner of Grace (Hines) for 65 years. Much loved father of Julie Goodwin (Terry), John (Barbara Jane) and Joe (Erin). Special poppa of Jennifer MacMillan (Connor), Kevin Coreno (Cathy), Melanie Froggett (Mike), Melissa Sanders (Stephen), Daniel Goodwin (Heather Brodie), Bradley Coreno (Kari VanVliet) and Catherine Alvarez (Joshua). Great grandpa of Mackenzie, Emma and Lucas Froggett, Kai and Jakobi Alvarez and William Sanders.
John worked at A&P for 38 years and enjoyed his retirement for the past 30 years. A private family service will take place. A special thanks to the staff of Extendicare-Peterborough- Violet Way, for their outstanding care and compassion. Memorial donations can be made to Operations Smile Canada, a charity dear to Dad’s heart.
