It is with great sadness that the family of John Mahoney announce his passing at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023.
John leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Jean, son Bob, and daughter Karen (Mark Bell). His memory will be forever treasured by his beloved grandchildren, Owen, Alec, Bridget, and Finn, and all those who were touched by his warmth and kindness.
A dedicated policeman for four decades, John served his communities with unwavering commitment and integrity. Beyond his service, he found solace in the serenity of nature through his passions for fly fishing and hunting.
A Celebration of Life for John will take place Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 12 pm - 3 pm at Filly and Co. Pub. 14888 Yonge Street, Aurora, Ontario.
