Passed away peacefully at PRHC Palliative Care on Saturday October 8, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Gilbert Lester Sperry of Ennismore. Loving mother of Glenn McIntosh (Stephanie) and the late Heather Caddigan, and step-mother to Katherine Sperry (Mark), Wendy Sperry (John), Deborah Sperry and Greg Sperry (Kim). Cherished grandmother to Sean, Riley, Caley, Solara, Lux, Drew, Josh, Michael and Sarah and great-grandmother to Georgia, Lucas, Rayna, Alyssa, Carter, Edward, Yuna and Memphis. She will also be greatly missed by friends and extended family. Joyce was known for her kind heart, polite mannerisms and her voracious sweet tooth. She could spot “Beautiful teeth” from a mile away and never failed to compliment anyone on their smile. Friends are invited to visit the family at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Thursday October 20, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Bridgenorth United Church, 832 Charles Street, Bridgenorth on Friday October 21, 2022 at 11:00 am.
