Kenneth Wayne Brand

Suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the 58 years of age. Husband and "Bestest Friend" of Cathy (nee Bronson) for 34 years. Devoted father of Adam (Heather), Luke, and Maggie. Loving grandpa of Madison and Scarlett. Cherished son of Robert and Phyllis Brand. Dear brother of Dale, Rick(Karen) and Donna Myers(Marcel). Much loved brother in law to Michael Bronson(Rose), Sue Rubie(John), Anna Brand and Jim Richardson. Predeceased by his siblings Bobby Brand and Linda Richardson. Kenneth will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and four legged friend Mya. Ken worked at Champlain College at Trent University as Porter for 17 years, and later drove taxi at Call A Cab. Ken was also very involved in American Civil war reenactment and will be missed by his ""Comrades in Arms in the 49th New York Volunteer Infantry. His "Testifying" will be sadly missed around the campfire. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A funeral service will take place on Friday May 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Comstock Chapel. Interment to take place at Emily Cemetery.
