MacFarlane, Lawrence Alexander entered into rest at PRHC on January 28th, 2021 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Jewell) for 68 years. Predeceased by his sons Jim (December 2019) and Ken (April 2020). Survived by Ken’s wife Tina (Campbell). Loving grandfather of Jason (Natashia), Laura (Hannah), Dylan and Emily. Great grandfather of Darwin, Artemis, and Shirley. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Verna (late Reg) Fee and Wilma (Mac) Tamblyn, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Theresa, sisters Margaret (Russell) Sage, Maude (Cliff) Jordan, Elizabeth (Richard) Bate, and Helen (Harold) Henry, in-laws Willie and Belle Jewell, sister-in-law Vivian (Earl) Moynes, eight nephews and four nieces. Private burial of cremated remains at Riverside Cemetery in Lindsay at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or YWCA Peterborough Haliburton would be appreciated by the family. “This life for me is truly past, I have loved you all to the very last.
