Linda Emily Bridge McDonald

It is with great sadness that we announce Linda’s passing at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) on January 24, 2025 in her 78th year with her loving family by her side. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Edward Bridge and Sarah (Sadie) MacDonell, as well as her husband, Keith (2016), who was the love of her life, her brother-in-law, Hugh (2008), her brother-in-law, Donald (2010), her brother, Grant (2016), her niece, Karen ( 2003) and her great nephew, Brody (2015).

Linda will be dearly missed by her devoted son, Kevin, and his wife, Erica, her sister, Carol, her brother, Ted and his wife, Teresa, her sisters-in-law, Gladys McCormick and Carol Bridge, her cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephew, as well as her many Glengarry friends and neighbours.

Linda was a woman of faith and integrity and she accepted her numerous health challenges with dignity and grace. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew, loved and respected her for her love of family, her warm hospitality, her strong work ethic, her beautiful smile, her quick wit, and her fierce loyalty.

Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in mid-May at Kirk Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life will also be held at a later date.

Our family extends its gratitude to Linda’s awesome doctor, Dr. Webster and the amazing nursing staff on D2 at P.R.H.C. for their compassion, expertise and exemplary care. Linda was blessed by their daily presence!

In memory of Linda, donations to the P.H.R.C. Palliative Care Unit, Glengarry Memorial Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
