Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough at the age of 91
Margaret was born in Scotland but Canada was her home for 60 years.
In the last years of her life she came to Peterborough to stay with family.
Margaret is predeceased by her 5 brothers, Andrew, Alex, Tom, Jim, and David. She is survived by her sisters Kathleen and Mary who will miss the sound of her voice and the laughs the 3 sisters shared, a bond that will never be broken.
She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews along with their families. Kevin, Margaret(Alistair), Michael(Linda), David(Marta), Richard(Ann), Sonia, Diane(Frank), Alan, Gordon(Cindy).
Margaret was an Aunt, Great Aunt, and a Great Great Aunt to so many more nieces and nephews in Canada, Scotland, and the United States.
We would like to thank all of the staff at Extendicare, especially the Orchid Trail unit for the wonderful care they all gave Margaret as she began her journey to heaven.
As per Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place.
