Maria Schulder

Loving Wife of Laurentiu Schulder. Daughter in law of Elena Cristescu. Mother to Andrew (Trisha) and Eugene (Jinney). Proud grandmother of Hailey (17), Octavian (12), Gabrielfox (11) and Corbin (7) and Great grandmother of Starleen (1). Survived by Nuti Dodescu. Predeceased by Fane Militaru.

Maria was born Sept 11, 1955 in Bucharest Romania. After immigrating to Canada in 1980, she devoted her life to her children.

Maria loved to travel the world, gardening, aware of latest greatest fashion trends, home decor and most importantly, bargaining.

That all became retrospect when it came to her grandchildren. Her entire being revolved around them and their well being. Every milestone, birthday, accomplishment was never unnoticed. Maria lived for them.

Special thank you to all her close dear friends, there are way too many to list but you all know who you are. To all the doctors, nurses and staff members at Peterborough/Oshawa hospital that provided the necessary care to Maria.

In accordance with Maria's wishes, Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre on July 4th, 2026 at 2 pm.
